We’re purrparing for Athicff!

For yet another year, liminal will be part of its favorite film festival! The Athens International Children’s Film Festival 2025 powered by DEI returns for its 8th consecutive edition from November 10 to 16 and this year, liminal goes beyond its Accessibility Services, experimenting and exploring exciting new creative paths!
What to expect at this year’s Athicff
The festival is coming richer than ever, promising yet another exciting journey for audiences of all ages. It amplifies the voices of children and teens, reflecting the issues that shape their lives today – family dynamics, friendships, loss, first sparks of the heart, questions of identity and acceptance, bullying, and diversity. The heroes of this year’s films challenge the status quo, reclaim public spaces, advocate for the protection of the planet and its creatures, and serve as shining examples of resilience – precious qualities that stand in contrast to the spirit of the times.

At the same time, it contributes to shaping new standards of representation by empowering people with disabilities as creators, professionals, and audiences. The initiative addresses both audiences with and without disabilities, promoting the concept of inclusion.
