Idra Kayne with live interpretation into Greek Sign Language at WOW

WOW – Women of the World returns to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) on April 4-7, 2025. The acclaimed festival for women, femininities, and non-binary individuals takes place for the third consecutive year in Athens at SNFCC, featuring a rich program of exhibitions, live music, and talks—all advancing gender equality.
liminal couldn’t miss a festival championing inclusion and celebrating diversity! The electrifying Idra Kayne concert on Saturday, April 5 at 21:30 will be accessible to Deaf and Hard of Hearing audiences, with interpretation in Greek Sign Language by interpreter Androniki Xanthopoulou and Deaf artists Sofia Zagga and Martha Babi.

Collaboration between interpretation professionals and Deaf community members in our Accessibility Services is deemed essential by our team. On one hand, it ensures representation and fosters familiarity for Deaf audiences; on the other, engagement with daily sign language users contributes to crafting contextually appropriate materials tailored to each event’s specific audience—while simultaneously incorporating the language’s latest trends and evolutions.
Idra Kayne – All Feminine Music Set
Idra Kayne, one of the most charismatic and dynamic performers in Greece’s music scene, presents All Feminine Music Set as part of WOW Athens 2025. A concert celebrating female creativity, taking place Saturday, April 5 at the SNFCC Agora.

This marks liminal’s second collaboration with the charismatic artist for a live set, and we’re thrilled to spotlight her explosive stage presence while ensuring accessibility for audiences with hearing disabilities. Idra Kayne previously appeared as a guest at liminal’s summer 2024 Dreamy Whispers concert. She particularly relished her experience performing with interpreters and delivered a show-stopping performance for her fans.
This set is a complete musical tribute to women. Featuring a rhythmic, emotionally charged program, the show highlights iconic songs by female voices who have left their mark—from Donna Summer and Beyoncé, to Aretha Franklin and Dua Lipa—underscoring the significance of artistic expression as a catalyst for social change.
