The Stegi Party Becomes Accessible!

A block party around the Onassis Stegi and a birthday cake that won’t be cut, because it belongs to everyone. Each layer marks a different chapter of our shared journey.
Accessibility at Stegi Party
Onassis Stegi turns 15! On Thursday, October 9 it opens its home and takes to the streets to celebrate as it should: with a big, accessible street party in its neighborhood, Neos Kosmos.
liminal and Cool Crips collaborate with Stegi for the design and implementation of accessibility, making sure the party is an experience open to everyone.
Putting This into Practice
- Tactile maps (piaf), QR codes for audio description for individuals with visual disabilities.
- Greek Sign Language interpretation and sound visualization.
- Vibration vests that amplify low-frequency sounds, from DEAF VEST.
- Sensory kits.
- A raised platform with unobstructed visibility and low-access points to bars and canteens for convenient service for wheelchair users.
- A specially designed safe space for anyone who needs a break.
- Designated parking spaces for disability vehicles at the Grand Hyatt Athens (115 Andrea Syggrou Ave).
ℹ️ Menus are available via QR code, and there will be an access info point at the party venue with more information about accessibility.
And that’s not all!
Deaf performers step onto the DJ booths to share rhythm in another way, while shuttle buses ensure comfortable transportation for those who need it. This year, the Onassis Stegi street party isn’t just another event. It’s a meeting point. An open embrace for every body and every beat.
We celebrate what unites us. We dance as we are. Together.

The Artists Bringing the Beat
Headliners of this year’s street party are Daniel Avery b2b Optimo, delivering an eclectic, electrifying set that brings club culture to the streets.
Alongside them, Buzz shares the pulse of Athens’ western suburbs, Madam X brings the energy of grime, Metaman and special guests create a musical universe where synths and beats strike together, while pink.wav sets up a limitless electronic dancefloor.
The celebration kicks off early with a colorful family session by the Bobos Arts Festival, with music, games, and dancing for all ages.
