Polydrama @PLYFA

On October 14, 2023 at PLYFA space the songs of the album POLYDRAMA will be performed live immediately after their release on all music platforms.

In POLYDRAMA, ody icons reveal the materials from which tears are made and turn on the lights in the secret rooms of our most intimate confessions. POLYDRAMA is what the title says: a collection of songs – signs within the last years that carry out the acknowledgement of the thirst for drama and methods of its release within the cultures that shaped their personality in Cyprus, Greece and Paris.

“This is a musical imprint of my journey through the various rooms of my human experience so far. It’s intense, it’s overwhelming, it’s sad and playful, political and emotional. It is a variety of elements that make up my fragility, my essence, my strength. I am this journey; this journey is me. It is long, it is multiple, it is plural, it is maximal. I have passed through dark rooms and bright rooftops to return and put the notes on my piano with honesty.

ody icons: always accessible!

The ody icons are among the artists who are in constant search of tools and methods that can make access to cultural goods equal for all. Their live performances always have sign language interpretation as well as subtitles for deaf and hard of hearing people. Once again liminal will be there in the production and also in the coordination of the accessibility services of the concert.

In “POLYDRAMA” the songs are signed by ody icon and the album, as well as the concert, is produced and arranged by Fotis ingie Papatheodorou.

The evening is opened by the distortionist of rebetiko sounds and guide of dark soundscapes ECATI, presenting material from his first album while mc mi55t, Iōko Ioannis Kotidis, Eugenia Liakou, Elena Pozatzidou, Roula Tsernou as well as Alexandros Argyris and clarinetist Giorgos Dousos, who also participate in the album POLYDRAMA, appear as special guests in the concert.

The musicians Irini Alisa and Yannis Papanikolaou and the interpreters Androniki Xanthopoulou and Olga Dalekou appear on stage.
The subtitles are provided by Grigoris Stathopoulos.

The costumes are designed by Marios Rammos while the visual identity and visuals were created by Markos Zouridakis (nodataism) and Faidonas Galogouras (fedon nom).
