liminal at the 4th Nevronas FESTival

Nevronas FESTival, the largest Accessible and Inclusive Performing Arts Festival in Greece, awarded at both national and European levels, returns for its 4th edition and liminal will be there once again to support it! From April 17 to 19, 2026, it invites audiences to Technopolis City of Athens, transforming the venue into an even more open, accessible, and vibrant space for art, coexistence, and creativity.

Poster for the 4th Nevronas FESTival. On a beige background, a colorful sun spreads its rays within the bounds of a circle. From there, four wavy lines emerge, sometimes resembling paths, other times bridges or waves. Rendered in bold colors with sharp outlines, they seem to overflow from the central shape and extend toward the four edges of the poster. On these lines, the artist’s signature “Orestis” appears, along with the words inclusion and accessibility. Between them, the festival details are displayed: April 17, 18, 19; Technopolis City of Athens; Theatre – Music – Dance – Exhibitions – Films – Workshops – Performances – Talks – Discussions; Information: nevronas.gr; Tickets: more.com. On the left, accessibility icons are shown, and at the bottom, the logos of partner organizations, the City of Athens, and Technopolis appear.
Orestis Chiotis, a professional artist with Down syndrome, designed the official poster for the 4th Nevronas FESTival.

4ο Nevronas FESTival

In a bright room with a light gray glossy floor, two bodies are hidden under dark sleeping bags. They stand one behind the other. As the back body is leaning forward on top of the other, the front one leans forward to support it. Behind them, a square black cube is the only object in the room.

Bodies, voices, and stories without exclusion! The Nevronas FESTival is more than just a festival. It is a statement of presence, a collective experience, and an act of inclusion. It is a reminder that culture gains true meaning only when it is accessible to all—when it emerges from the encounter of diverse bodies, voices, and stories, and transforms into a shared space of expression, participation, and coexistence.

With a strong commitment to equal participation in culture for all, Nevronas FESTival has become an important platform where artists with and without disabilities, professional and amateur creators, cultural institutions, organizations, and audiences come together.

Because… Art makes no distinctions. Art is for everyone!

Over the course of three days, audiences will have the chance to engage with a vibrant, diverse, and multi-layered program, featuring:

  • theatrical plays and performances
  • dance and physical theatre
  • musical events and concerts
  • workshops, hands-on activities, and open labs
  • film screenings
  • visual art exhibitions
  • talks and presentations on art, disability, and accessibility
  • parallel activities for the whole family

Beyond its artistic program, Nevronas FESTival serves as a space for dialogue and social change, fostering discussion around the cultural rights of people with disabilities and promoting new, inclusive practices for creating and presenting performing and visual arts.

3 days
90+ inclusive events
400+ artists with and without disabilities

liminal will be there!

On the right, an image in shades of blue and red depicts an arched door in front of another arched door. The style is reminiscent of a special mosaic. At the bottom and on the left, the artist's signature is given with an A. At the bottom of the poster in black letters it says: "Coexistences - 13 Inclusive Exhibitions".
