Launching P.A.I.R.

We are excited to announce the launch of the two-year European project Paving Accessible and Inclusive Realities (P.A.I.R.) (2024-2026)!
P.A.I.R. is an innovative initiative that paves the way for a truly accessible and inclusive culture. It is implemented by liminal (Greece) in collaboration with Alternative Brains Rule (Cyprus) and the Estonian Agrenska Foundation (Estonia), and recognizes diversity not as an obstacle, but as a driving force of cultural innovation.
P.A.I.R. Goals
- To strengthen the presence and representation of people with disabilities in the cultural sector
- To propose a new sustainable and inclusive model for artistic development.
How?
Through digital art projects and multisensory experiences co-created by and for creators and audiences, with or without disabilities, P.A.I.R. proposes innovative solutions that expand participation, enhance creative expression, and promote the sustainability of the cultural sector.
At the heart of the project is the Creative Accessibility Methodology and Universal Design, ensuring that accessibility and inclusion are not just goals, but fundamental principles in every artistic process and decision-making.
First Stage

To create a culture where everyone can equally enjoy, we must first listen to the needs of the community!
In the first stage of P.A.I.R., through mapping needs and challenges, we are exploring:
- The barriers faced by audiences and artists with disabilities in the cultural space.
- The challenges cultural organizations face in their efforts to become more accessible.
- The innovative practices that can make a difference in Greece, Cyprus, and Estonia.
