GREECE 3.0 / LOADING…

We are not simply producing another project. We are staging a revolution. We take dusty archives and mix them with digital equality, put history under the microscope and the future in our sights, and create space for the community to decide what comes next.

No filters, no exclusions. Only co-creation and new tools. We are redefining culture. From the ground up.

Poster in shades of blue titled “Greece 3.0.” The subtitle reads “Art, digital equality, change,” followed by “Archive, Art, Dialogue, Tools” and “Analog archives, Digital experiments, Real stories, Inclusive Art,” displayed within white shapes resembling clouds. In the background, blue curved lines intertwine with blurred black-and-white images of outdoor spaces and decorative elements. At the bottom left, the logos of the Inclusive Digital Economy Network+ and Liminal appear in small size.

Join Greece 3.0!

The Greece 3.0 project explores how digital equality connects with art and institutional change in the cultural field.

Through a journey that stretches from the past to the future, we examine how disability communities produce new knowledge and how cultural archives come alive through contemporary art.

We explore questions such as:

  • How can we create equitable experiences for everyone using digital and non-digital tools?
  • How do we create more accessible and participatory art?
  • How can disability communities engage with their own cultural heritage in ways grounded in accessibility and visibility?
  • How is new knowledge produced through this process?

The future is accessible and it is already here.

What will we do?

Together with an interdisciplinary team of researchers, we will study issues of accessibility and digital participation, drawing on examples from the performing arts and the archive of Artogether (formerly VSA Hellas), founded in 1989 and merged with liminal in 2022.

The working group will focus on four key pillars:

  1. Archive We explore and enrich the archive of Artogether (formerly VSA Hellas), one of the oldest and most significant arts-and-disability organisations in Greece.
  2. Art We create new artistic works inspired by the history and lived experiences of the community.
  3. Dialogue We organise public events and creative feedback gatherings with organisations and institutions, where we examine the challenges, barriers, and possibilities of accessibility in Greece.
  4. Tools We develop practical accessibility guides for the cultural institutions of the future.

Who do we invite?

Individuals (disabled and non-disabled) who love or work in the arts (performing or digital), technology and digital accessibility, as well as archive management and digitisation.
