Discovering Musical Instruments
Megaron The Athens Concert Hall welcomes the new season with a rich and promising programme. Among its educational initiatives is the “Discovering Musical Instruments: The Instruments of the Symphonic Orchestra” programme.
The musicians of the Underground Youth Orchestra and its artistic director and conductor Kostas Iliadis invite us to explore the instruments of the symphony orchestra… up close! The workshop is accessible for children with sensory and/or neurodevelopmental disabilities.

Accessibility
In collaboration with liminal, yet another cycle of the educational workshop made accessible to families with children aged 6 and above with sensory and/or neurodevelopmental disabilities.
Children with disabilities are encouraged to arrive 20 minutes before the start time of the workshop, in order to have a touch tour, meet the participants and get acquainted with the venue.
During the workshop:
- interpretation in Greek Sign Language is provided and
- the music and sounds produced are visualized through waveform graphics for children with hearing disabilities.
