Accessible Guided Tours at SNF Nostos 2026

As part of SNF Nostos 2026, organised by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) and taking place from 21 to 28 June 2026 at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), with free admission for all and the central theme “Humanity at the core”, an accessible guided tour will be offered. The tour includes the exhibitions “Artefacts of the future, ethical echoes in medicine” and “A 30-year journey with humanity at the core: An SNF timeline”.

In collaboration with liminal, two guided tours for people with visual impairments will take place on Wednesday 24 June at 19:00 and Sunday 28 June at 18:00.

Guided tours with audio description verbally convey the visual information of the exhibits and the exhibition space. Combined with tactile exploration, visitors are able to form a mental image of the works, their form, materials, arrangement, and key characteristics.

A PIAF tactile map is also available in the space, providing a raised representation of the exhibition’s spatial layout and supporting visitors’ orientation through touch.

Additionally, for the exhibition “A 30-year journey with humanity at the core: An SNF timeline”, audio guides with integrated audio description are available in both Greek and English, further enhancing access to the exhibition’s content for people with visual impairments.

The audio guides will be available throughout the duration of the exhibition via QR code.
