Kicking Off a Timely Conversation

In a time of constant change, the cultural and creative industries are key drivers of social development, economic growth, and cultural innovation. Yet, barriers to access and ongoing exclusion continue to limit opportunities for participation and professional growth.

Building on the conclusions of the Roundtable organized by CulturePolis during the 2024 Creative Skills Week, the two organizations are launching a dialogue to address these challenges, with a focus on skills development, inclusive practices, and cross-sector collaboration.

What Will Be Discussed

Despite the long cultural tradition and vibrant artistic activity in Greece and Cyprus, a significant gap remains between the skills needed in the sector and those available in today’s workforce.

The meeting will highlight this gap and explore solutions for building a more inclusive and accessible creative ecosystem. Bringing together representatives from the creative community, public administration, and civil society, it will showcase best practices and strategies that advance diversity and inclusion in the creative sector.
