Meet P.A.I.R. through its brand-new website!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the official website for the European project P.A.I.R. – Paving Accessible, Inclusive Realities! This digital space invites you to discover P.A.I.R. and follow its journey step by step.

The pages of the PAIR website are displayed together in a collage resembling magazine spreads. The program’s bold cyan tones stand out, along with the full title "Paving Accessible Inclusive Realities" and geometric shapes in various arrangements beneath the "What PAIR Creates" and "News and Updates" sections.

What is P.A.I.R.

P.A.I.R. is an innovative program that fosterstruly accessible and inclusive cultural landscape.
Implemented by liminal (Greece) in partnership with Alternative Brains Rule (Cyprus) and the Estonian Agrenska Foundation (Estonia), it recognizes diversity as the driving force of cultural innovation.

An accessible open website

The website is designed following the guidelines of universal accessibility:

  • It supports three language environments (Greek, English, Estonian)

  • it provides alt text for images

  • keyboard navigation,

  • video captions and

  • WCAG-compliant color contrast.

Through its core sections – Homepage, Partners, News, Showcase and Contact – you can explore the project in depth and stay updated on the latest developments, activities and announcements throughout the program’s duration.

A teaser from PAIR’s new website. Fragments of the partner pages appear in lilac hues. A neon blue, a pink, and lilac dominate the new site’s color palette.

How is the project developing

P.A.I.R. is a project that unfolds through three sequential and interconnected stages:

  • Research & Development

The project begins by documenting experiences, challenges, and needs related to cultural accessibility. Through questionnaires, interviews, focus groups and creative workshops, it amplifies the voices of disabled individuals, artists and cultural organizations.

  • Vocational training

Next follows a complete training program, with digital and in-person seminars on the Creative Accessibility Method, Universal Design, and inclusive practices in cultural spaces.

  • Creation & Showcase

Disabled and non-disabled artists collaborate to create original digital artworks, which will be presented at three accessible events – in Athens, Nicosia and Tartu – and documented in an accessible digital zine. This creative journey will culminate in a final online event, open to all.
