Olga Dalekou at Revolution is not a one time event
The Revolution is not a one time event program comes to TAVROS this spring and expresses its deep belief in the – often unexpected – results of the fermentation that takes place when we come together collectively. It is a tribute to the seemingly small, revolutionary gestures and the heterogeneous and ongoing struggles of feminisms.
The art exhibition becomes the occasion for a rich public program with more than 50 collaborators and a series of events: film screenings and discussions, performance and open mic nights, research and educational workshops, as well as weekly community meetings, inviting a diverse gathering of women’s, feminist, queer, masculine, non-normative, experimental, revolutionary voices.
As part of the Community Meetings, the Revolution is not a one time event program includes a discussion with the deaf actress Olga Dalekou on the everyday inclusion practices within the community of deaf and hard of hearing on Wednesday, May 17th at 19:00. liminal is happy to support the event by offering interpretation to and from the Greek Sign Language.
